All original Artwork is automatically copyright to the artist whether it is sold or not. This means you may not reproduce or alter it in any way.
Sales Procedure
Initial contact request for purchase
1.Use the contact form and include the DV code where provided, and/or the title of the selected Art.
2. I do not ship framed watercolours paintings as the risk of glass breakage is too great. I can supply a suitable mount on request with a small added cost.
Commission Purchases
3. Details about your choice of artwork are discussed prior to your actual purchase. This assures us both that what you want is what you get.
4. Commissions- I get your approval on the drawing before starting to paint and keep you up to date as I progress to ensure you are happy with the choices made. The main colour choices are discussed and agreed. Note- These colours are a guide and do not include different shades, or all colours used. This is due to practicality and time constraints.
What you will Receive
5. Along with your Painting, you will receive a numbered and signed ‘Certificate of Authenticity’ and an ‘information sheet’ on how to care for your treasured piece of art, along with proof of purchase. This applies to ALL art works.
Sale Agreement
6. Once an agreement is made the purchase is final and cannot be altered. This includes, Price, Size, Medium, method of Delivery and Delivery Costs where applicable.
7. All Art work must be paid in Full prior to sending. Insurance is Always recommended, and damage incurred during transport is not the responsibility of the Artist. (myself- Dianne Vagg)
Damage During the Delivery Process
8. If on delivery the package is damaged I require a photo if that as well as any damage sustained by the art itself. it must be photographed and I must be notified immediately.
I may be able to provide you with a reasonable solution to save your purchase. Note- At this time NO damage has ever occurred during shipping.(2023 to 2025 Inclusive))
Method of Payment & Your Privacy
9. Preferred method of payment is- Direct Bank transfer. A non refundable deposit of 20% is requested to secure the painting of a commission piece.
Personal information-
10. I keep only your name, chosen artwork, and email address, all are private and NOT online.
